I'm fired up to share that Metaview has raised a $60M Series C led by Insight Partners, with participation from GV, Intrepid Growth Partners, Seedcamp, Vertex Ventures US, Plural, and Garuda Ventures. That brings our total funding to $110M.

More than 7,000 companies now hire with Metaview. Over the last year, we've expanded from capturing the conversations where hiring decisions happen to deploying AI agents across the entire recruiting process.

I'm proud of what we've built. And I’m unbelievably excited about where we’re taking recruiting.

Recruiting's Claude Code moment.

The way engineering teams work has fundamentally changed. Engineers have moved from writing every line of code to orchestrating agents that handle implementation. Their judgment became more important, not less: defining what to build, giving the agent context, reviewing its work, making the calls that matter.

Now it's Recruiting's turn.

Recruiting is a $800 billion industry, almost entirely built on a single assumption: hiring is hard, laborious work, with minimal leverage through technology. Recruiting teams are scaled to accommodate hiring spikes, and dismantled just as quickly. It's expensive, ineffective, and painful for all involved.

Meanwhile, candidate volume has exploded. Applications per recruiter have increased 412%. So recruiters spend their days processing massive application queues, searching profiles, writing outreach, scheduling screens, chasing interview feedback, and shuttling information between systems.

The average time to fill a role is nearly 45 days, and nearly 50% of hiring decisions are later regretted. A coin flip that takes months, and many more months to undo. The system is failing companies and candidates at the same time.

The first generation of recruiting AI helped people do some of these tasks faster. We built many of those tools ourselves. But individual productivity gains were never the end goal.

The most human part of hiring is the relationships. Yet many recruiters spend the majority of their time on everything but. They should be building rapport, assessing fit, persuading great people to take a chance on a role, and helping someone make a career decision that changes their life.

Agentic AI makes that possible. Agents handle the administrative layer. And because every step is captured, every signal feeds back into sharper decisions: who to prioritize, where to focus, when to move.

From software you use to agents that do work.

Metaview has evolved from capturing interviews into an end-to-end Agentic Recruiting Platform. Our agents source candidates, review applications, conduct structured screening conversations, and turn human interviews into usable intelligence.

And the work doesn't wait for Monday morning. A candidate can apply Sunday evening and be reviewed immediately. Screening can happen when it suits the candidate. Sourcing can continue while the hiring team is interviewing, sleeping, or closing another offer.

In one recent hire by fillmore, 52 candidates were sourced, researched, and contacted by AI, five screens were booked by AI, and the eventual hire went from first being sourced to a signed offer in 30 days.

That's the shift: recruiting becomes always on, while people stay in control of the decisions that matter.

What comes next.

This Series C funds three priorities:

Expanding the platform. We're building new agents across the recruiting process, including a dedicated AI screening agent. And fillmore is now available: our autonomous recruiting coworker that sources candidates, writes personalized outreach, manages follow-up, and books screening calls, with people in the loop where it matters.

Opening in New York and growing the team. We're growing from 80 people to 250 by the end of next year and opening a New York office alongside our teams in London and San Francisco. We're hiring across engineering, product, design, and go-to-market. If you want to work on a problem that touches every company on earth — and you believe in the power of getting the right butts in seats — we'd love to talk.

Helping talent professionals master AI. The shift to agentic recruiting requires a new skill set, not just new software. We're investing in 10x Recruiting, our community and training program for recruiters, talent ops, and hiring leaders, built around what we're calling talent engineering: the discipline of designing, running, and improving AI-powered hiring systems. The best teams of the next decade will be built by people who know how to use these tools well.

Thank you.

We're grateful to every customer who's built with us, every teammate who's made this possible, and every investor who's believed in this vision.

AI has already changed how companies build products. Now it's changing how companies build teams.

If this sounds like the kind of future you want to build, we're hiring.
